De Quervain's Tenosynovitis
This condition is a painful inflammation of the tendons on the thumb side of the wrist, often due to overuse. It causes pain and swelling around the base of the thumb and is common in new mothers or those performing repetitive hand or wrist movements.
Trigger Finger
Trigger finger is a condition where one or more fingers get stuck in a bent position due to inflammation of the flexor tendons. It can cause pain and stiffness, with the finger 'snapping' when straightened.
